In the 46thth minute of the game Amador Venceslao who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caballeritos del Baile's Damián Martínez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Caballeritos del Baile's attentive Elpidio Hitz managed to snatch the ball when Natalio Mazuste made a throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game. Damián Martínez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrián Espadas in the 55th minute of play. Caballeritos del Baile's Damián Martínez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amador Venceslao in the 58th minute of play. Damián Martínez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrián Espadas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gonzalo Lujan hit a great ball. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Caballeritos del Baile's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Iordanis Karatzaferis was slow to take the kick. During this time Soroca F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Soroca F.C.'s Godofredo Quilino getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After a rather tough play, Caballeritos del Baile's Rene Goi got a free kick in the 89th minute. After some careless play in the Caballeritos del Baile defense, Zézinho Neiva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Damián Martínez. The Caballeritos del Baile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damián Martínez should have stopped the shot.
