The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Alvi Verde's zone, Erasmo dos Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Téo Leite came out of the goal and Erasmo dos Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peker Suersan in the 6th minute of play forced América-SC F.C.'s goalkeeper Nestor Quirino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Alvi Verde's goal looked a bit too open when Erasmo dos Santos came free, but Téo Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Gabi Gol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Téo Leite was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Alvi Verde's Cuero Buseth slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nestor Quirino. That made the score 1-0 after 17 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabi Gol in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Téo Leite prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Elder Domingues came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the América-SC F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elder Domingues couldn't finish the play. Alvi Verde's attentive Peker Suersan managed to snatch the ball when Téo Cordeiro made a throw-in in the 25th minute of the game. 26 minutes into the match, América-SC F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Wilbert Ugalde came free, but Nestor Quirino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erasmo dos Santos hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cuero Buseth made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, América-SC F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kobe Haaland to maneuver through the defense. Cuero Buseth's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nestor Quirino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Kobe Haaland came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Téo Leite could save by the left post. 58 minutes into the match, Cuero Buseth had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nestor Quirino. América-SC F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cuero Buseth was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 62 minutes into the match, Alvi Verde's goalkeeper Téo Leite had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erasmo dos Santos. Téo Cordeiro hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After 64 played minutes Alvi Verde got a freekick which was hit by Cuero Buseth.
