Jataiense Futebol Clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alexander Milošević in the 9th minute. The corner led to Jataiense Futebol Clube's Nicolás Castillo getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 11th minute Elder Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Paraibano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, América-SC F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gualter Gulak came free, but Nestor Quirino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erasmo dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. América-SC F.C.'s Jerônimo Pimenta managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Luizão Pesquera in the 18 minute of the game. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Gabi Gol sped through Jataiense Futebol Clube's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Thiago Paraibano. With his leg Nestor Quirino managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Jataiense Futebol Clube's Nicolás Castillo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Nicolás Castillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabi Gol in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Paraibano saved Jataiense Futebol Clube from getting behind. 33 minutes into the match, Jataiense Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Gabi Gol came free, but Thiago Paraibano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolás Castillo struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Nestor Quirino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jataiense Futebol Clube. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gualter Gulak during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 38 played minutes Jataiense Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Gualter Gulak. 41 minutes into the match, Jataiense Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Gabi Gol came free, but Thiago Paraibano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Golaki Goiano made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Nicolás Castillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nestor Quirino was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Nicolás Castillo scored 2-2 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nestor Quirino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. América-SC F.C. made a substitution. Kobe Haaland replaced Eliézer Azevedo. Kalle Biörkquist made in the 79th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Gualter Gulak immediately put the ball in play. Golaki Goiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thiago Paraibano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Mattos in the 84th minute of play. In the 88th match minute, Jataiense Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nino Maldini to maneuver through the defense. Elder Domingues, 88 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Thiago Paraibano made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Gabi Gol sent off a good shot on target. 92 minutes into the game, Gabi Gol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Thiago Paraibano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. América-SC F.C. played a much better game than Jataiense Futebol Clube and deserved their victory. The Jataiense Futebol Clube players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
