With a left leg Nestor Quirino saved América-SC F.C. from getting behind. After 8 minutes of play, White Raven FC.'s Hipolito Cambranes made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nestor Quirino was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 11th minute Hipolito Cambranes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Quirino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 12 minutes América-SC F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Urbano Jerano who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Urbano Jerano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but América-SC F.C.'s Nestor Quirino did a great save. Nestor Quirino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelio Goizeder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boris Specht scored 0-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nestor Quirino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gabi Gol blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fülöp Marton having to make a save. With a little luck, White Raven FC.'s Fülöp Marton got control of the ball when Gabi Gol tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nestor Quirino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hipolito Cambranes in the 27th minute of the match. Erasmo dos Santos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Fülöp Marton made a huge save. Nestor Quirino came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by White Raven FC.'s Hipolito Cambranes. But to his dismay, Hipolito Cambranes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.
