When Soczewki Gliwice's Tomasz Sobania in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye A.S. The Soczewki Gliwice fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damazy Kensicki should have stopped the shot. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.S. Udinese's goalkeeper Alvaro Rotili, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Zdzislaw Witek got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alvaro Rotili quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Alessio Zoccali might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damazy Kensicki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alessio Zoccali ran back to his position shaking his head. 31 minutes into the match, Soczewki Gliwice's goal looked a bit too open when Alessio Zoccali came free, but Damazy Kensicki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Imre Hellinger in the 35th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by A.S. Udinese's Olivér Bierhoff. 36 minutes into the match, Alessio Zoccali notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Soczewki Gliwice's Damazy Kensicki. Damazy Kensicki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bruno Maranzano charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruno Maranzano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bruno Maranzano hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match.

A.S. Udinese's Alexander Bottone was substituted for Alessio Zoccali. A.S. Udinese's Augusto Clemente was substituted for Cristiano Paolucci. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvaro Rotili prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Soczewki Gliwice getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Jesus Frisco hit a great ball. Damazy Kensicki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Bottone in the 71st minute of the match. A collision led to A.S. Udinese getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Corrado Falasca hit a great ball. Damazy Kensicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Bottone in the 76th minute of play. In the 79th match minute, A.S. Udinese was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dino Pozzoli to maneuver through the defense. Herman Källberg hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Udinese was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmondo Giorda didn't get a good kick on the ball. A.S.
