An unexpectedly hard shot by Liu Yan Yan in the 4th minute of play forced Randers A.F.C.'s goalkeeper Nichlas Vesterdahl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rene Rostholm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Petru Nisporeanu made a huge save. Rene Rostholm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13th match minute, Deportivo Peñarol FIFV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Txanton Balbanea to maneuver through the defense. Petru Nisporeanu made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Rene Rostholm sent off a good shot on target. Nichlas Vesterdahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liu Yan Yan, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's goalkeeper Petru Nisporeanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rene Rostholm. Nichlas Vesterdahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Örjan Forssell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rene Rostholm struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Petru Nisporeanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Randers A.F.C.. Txanton Balbanea hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute Nik Frisendal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petru Nisporeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rene Rostholm blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Petru Nisporeanu having to make a save. 43 minutes into the game, Rene Rostholm recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Petru Nisporeanu. Rene Rostholm showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 47th minute, Shao Fan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Örjan Forssell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Petru Nisporeanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nik Frisendal in the 55th minute of play. Randers A.F.C.'s Rene Rostholm got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Deportivo Peñarol FIFV made a substitution. Oriche Ruelas replaced Mauricio Guadalupe. Randers A.F.C.'s Rene Rostholm got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Amadeo Gonsalvo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Örjan Forssell took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Nichlas Vesterdahl to make any attempt to save it. Petru Nisporeanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Rostholm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Arthur Shelby made a precise shot to the right of Petru Nisporeanu. Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Petru Nisporeanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nik Frisendal in the 79th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's Jaffery Stanton seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jaffery Stanton the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Deportivo Peñarol FIFV protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jaffery Stanton had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Randers A.F.C.'s Bruno Steenbeck was substituted for Rene Rostholm. After 89 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Deportivo Peñarol FIFV! In the 96th minute Bruno Steenbeck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petru Nisporeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 97 played minutes Randers A.F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Hélder Soveral.
