After 42 played minutes Deportivo Peñarol FIFV got a freekick which was hit by Llope Ojeda. In the 44th minute Ahmet Sefer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petru Nisporeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to La Pantera Azulgrana getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Mati Suárez hit a great ball.

Dibag Martinez had great luck who in the 52ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Mauricio Guadalupe from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Ahmet Sefer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Petru Nisporeanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's Paolo Montero seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Paolo Montero the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Deportivo Peñarol FIFV protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Paolo Montero had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch.
