The audience was convinced that Terri Bulk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dibag Martinez was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. La Pantera Azulgrana's Dibag Martinez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save La Pantera Azulgrana from getting a goal against them. In the 11th minute, Arthur Shelby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dibag Martinez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Terri Bulk in the 13th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Terri Bulk in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dibag Martinez saved La Pantera Azulgrana from getting behind. Dibag Martinez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rene Rostholm's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Pantera Azulgrana's goalkeeper Dibag Martinez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Ahmet Sefer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Pantera Azulgrana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Rene Rostholm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Dibag Martinez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Børge Buhr ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Børge Buhr got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dibag Martinez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Rene Rostholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Rostholm in the 45th minute of play forced La Pantera Azulgrana's goalkeeper Dibag Martinez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ahmet Sefer to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Sefer in the 55th minute of play forced Randers A.F.C.'s goalkeeper Nichlas Vesterdahl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 61 played minutes La Pantera Azulgrana got a freekick which was hit by Cristobal Peio. A collision led to La Pantera Azulgrana getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Cristobal Peio hit a great ball. In the 64th minute Alberto Dunixi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dibag Martinez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristobal Peio lost his temper 66 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 66th minute, one of La Pantera Azulgrana:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for La Pantera Azulgrana. 70 minutes into the game, Léo Barros threw the ball into play from the sideline. La Pantera Azulgrana's Mati Suárez quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpected shot in the 73rd minute by Romarinho Riquelme got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Dibag Martinez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Terri Bulk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute Rene Rostholm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dibag Martinez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Mati Suárez came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the La Pantera Azulgrana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mati Suárez couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Terri Bulk in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dibag Martinez saved La Pantera Azulgrana from getting behind. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
