The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that José Carneiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ergo Muro was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. 5 minutes into the match, Caatiba MZC's goal looked a bit too open when José Carneiro came free, but Ergo Muro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ergo Muro had in the 10thth minute some difficulties stopping Renaut Vuerinckx's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The supporters of Ema City booed when Caatiba MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fahl Figueroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Caatiba MZC's goal looked a bit too open when José Carneiro came free, but Ergo Muro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Caatiba MZC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Renaut Vuerinckx was slow to take the kick. During this time Ema City's players had a chance to rest. Qiu Wei Yan was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 16 minutes into the game, José Carneiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ergo Muro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If José Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Caatiba MZC's Ergo Muro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Carneiro in the 20th minute of play. Bartosz Trzenzalski made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Niceto Ihazintu sent off a good shot on target. 25 minutes into the match, Caatiba MZC's goal looked a bit too open when José Carneiro came free, but Ergo Muro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ergo Muro came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ema City's José Carneiro. But to his dismay, José Carneiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Maciej Parzysz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ergo Muro came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Ema City's José Carneiro. But to his dismay, José Carneiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niceto Ihazintu got free with Bartosz Trzenzalski in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46th minute, Fahl Figueroa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Niceto Ihazintu made a kick off. Bartosz Trzenzalski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niceto Ihazintu in the 51st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Caatiba MZC's Miguel Lizer got a free kick in the 56th minute. Fahl Figueroa tried in the 58th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Ergo Muro a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 0-4. After 63 minutes, Chen Yang Han mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ema City and the Caatiba MZC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ema City's Chen Yang Han got a free kick in the 63rd minute. José Carneiro took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ergo Muro. Ergo Muro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. When Maciej Parzysz came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Ema City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maciej Parzysz couldn't finish the play. 74 minutes into the match, José Carneiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ergo Muro. Caatiba MZC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Carneiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. After 80 minutes of play, Ema City's José Carneiro made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ergo Muro was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 84th minute, Fahl Figueroa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ergo Muro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Carneiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Carneiro in the 94th minute of play forced Caatiba MZC's goalkeeper Ergo Muro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ergo Muro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Carneiro in the 96th minute of play.
