After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Rafael Maria Píriz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bazellatin F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Rafael Maria Píriz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ergo Muro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15th match minute, Caatiba MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delfim Bertassi to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 16 minutes, Amadeu Bessa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bazellatin F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Amadeu Bessa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kunga King made a kick off. Bazellatin F.C.'s Niculae Ailenei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niceto Ihazintu in the 52nd minute of play. With a little luck, Caatiba MZC's Ergo Muro got control of the ball when Kunga King tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 63 played minutes Caatiba MZC got a freekick which was hit by Benedito Domingues. When Benedito Domingues fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caatiba MZC's protests and gave Benedito Domingues a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Caatiba MZC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Benedito Domingues hit a great ball. In the 69th minute Niceto Ihazintu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niculae Ailenei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caatiba MZC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Kunga King scored to the left of an out of position Ergo Muro, making the score, 1-3. Jorge Henrique might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Niculae Ailenei. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jorge Henrique ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 88 minutes, Niceto Ihazintu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kunga King got free with Ergo Muro in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ergo Muro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Maria Píriz in the 95th minute of the match. The Caatiba MZC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bazellatin F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
