Hugo Haupt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Otávio Dante made a huge save. Nicasio Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Narciso Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without August Hoffmanns having to interfere. Jaru-Uaru's Otávio Dante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anestis Kotsopoulos in the 18th minute of play. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rot-Weiss-Essen's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mo Ning De was slow to take the kick. During this time Jaru-Uaru's players had a chance to rest. Nicasio Abreu was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Luís Fernando Vides scored 0-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of August Hoffmanns, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 30th minute Luís Fernando Vides shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but August Hoffmanns saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rdth minute of the game Luís Fernando Vides who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rot-Weiss-Essen's August Hoffmanns was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Fernando Vides in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg August Hoffmanns saved Rot-Weiss-Essen from getting behind. Luís Fernando Vides scored 0-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of August Hoffmanns, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With an all-out effort, Rot-Weiss-Essen's Otávio Dante threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Christoph Beckert, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Velislav Irinchev hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 42nd match minute, Jaru-Uaru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Mendes to maneuver through the defense. Mo Ning De recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wincenty Gendolla hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anestis Kotsopoulos made a kick off. Luís Fernando Vides received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. August Hoffmanns tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jaru-Uaru's Otávio Dante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Haupt in the 53rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Jaru-Uaru's Wincenty Gendolla got a free kick in the 55th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Jaru-Uaru's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Haupt came free, but Otávio Dante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christoph Beckert in the 64th minute of play forced Jaru-Uaru's goalkeeper Otávio Dante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Christoph Beckert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luís Fernando Vides's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but August Hoffmanns read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Jaru-Uaru's Luís Fernando Vides got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 84 minutes into the match, Jaru-Uaru's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Haupt came free, but Otávio Dante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Jaru-Uaru's zone, Christoph Beckert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Otávio Dante came out of the goal and Christoph Beckert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. August Hoffmanns stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Fernando Vides's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Otávio Dante came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Rot-Weiss-Essen's Hugo Haupt. But to his dismay, Hugo Haupt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Luís Fernando Vides in the 92ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of August Hoffmanns, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Haupt in the 93rd minute of play forced Jaru-Uaru's goalkeeper Otávio Dante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 95 in the game by Luís Fernando Vides from a close distance when the talented August Hoffmanns managed to make a qualified save. Rot-Weiss-Essen's players were relieved. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
