After a defensive mix-up in Rot-Weiss-Essen's zone, Gwidon Wincek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. August Hoffmanns came out of the goal and Gwidon Wincek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Efraim Leizaur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Haupt in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute of the match, Gwidon Wincek tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but August Hoffmanns saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. August Hoffmanns made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Snorri De Hond sent off a good shot on target. August Hoffmanns stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Snorri De Hond's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute Atunes De Margarita FC⚽️ were awarded a corner. Cosmin Moți went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Yenal Oral heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 24th match minute, Atunes De Margarita FC⚽️ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yenal Oral to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the game, Snorri De Hond lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated August Hoffmanns. With a little luck, Rot-Weiss-Essen's August Hoffmanns got control of the ball when Cordairo Aveo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Efraim Leizaur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mesut Özil's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. In the 34thth minute of the game Snorri De Hond who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rot-Weiss-Essen's August Hoffmanns was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Efraim Leizaur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximilian Henning, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Atunes De Margarita FC⚽️'s goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Haupt came free, but Efraim Leizaur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rot-Weiss-Essen's Anestis Kotsopoulos got a free kick in the 46th minute. With his leg August Hoffmanns managed to avoid a goal in the 47thth minute, when Atunes De Margarita FC⚽️'s Snorri De Hond fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anestis Kotsopoulos made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Snorri De Hond's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but August Hoffmanns was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Atunes De Margarita FC⚽️ were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Rot-Weiss-Essen's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cosmin Moți took the corner. The corner ended in Cosmin Moți almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rot-Weiss-Essen's August Hoffmanns did a great save. Snorri De Hond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without August Hoffmanns having to interfere. August Hoffmanns stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marco Crouch's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. 69 minutes into the game, Mesut Özil recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Efraim Leizaur. Mesut Özil showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwidon Wincek in the 71st minute of play forced Rot-Weiss-Essen's goalkeeper August Hoffmanns to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. August Hoffmanns made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cordairo Aveo in the 75th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Atunes De Margarita FC⚽️'s corner Cosmin Moți fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and August Hoffmanns quite easily take care of the ball. August Hoffmanns made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cordairo Aveo in the 79th minute of play. Cordairo Aveo scored 2-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of August Hoffmanns, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marco Crouch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94th match minute, Rot-Weiss-Essen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Haupt to maneuver through the defense. The Atunes De Margarita FC⚽️ fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when Atunes De Margarita FC⚽️'s Marco Crouch looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rot-Weiss-Essen's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
