Andırın SK's Ilmar Murumets managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mattias Jonasson in the 10 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Türkeş Akşit in the 22nd minute of play forced VB-Team's goalkeeper Armindo Salgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 23 minutes VB-Team's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Türkeş Uğuralp who took care of the corner kick. Armindo Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Türkeş Akşit, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 28th minute Türkeş Akşit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Andırın SK's Türkeş Akşit sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armindo Salgado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Türkeş Akşit stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zhu Ao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim de Barros in the 52nd minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Cyprian Trochowski in the 59th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by VB-Team's Álvaro Rezende. Zhu Ao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim de Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute, Andırın SK's Kaspar Talts seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Kaspar Talts the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Andırın SK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Kaspar Talts had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. VB-Team made a substitution. Qiu Sheng Bang replaced Sandro Leitão. VB-Team's Yu Ke Hong was substituted for Mattias Jonasson. VB-Team's Traian Hăvârneanu was substituted for Joaquim de Barros. Zhu Ao didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Traian Hăvârneanu went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Zhu Ao came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by VB-Team's Gervásio Severiano. But to his dismay, Gervásio Severiano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Traian Hăvârneanu in the 80th minute of play forced Andırın SK's goalkeeper Zhu Ao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Andırın SK's goal looked a bit too open when Shao Kun Yuan came free, but Zhu Ao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Andırın SK booed when VB-Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Caeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Batıhan Saik got free with Armindo Salgado in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luís Caeiro scored 3-1 in the 98th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zhu Ao, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The VB-Team fans cheered their team off the field, for while Andırın SK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
