Maciej Budrewicz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martin Palermo went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 89 minutes into the game, Cristian Medina cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Maciej Budrewicz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. La Candela FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
