The referee ignored GLADIADORES's protests and gave Sérgio Donato a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Beek City booed when GLADIADORES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johannes Stein didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arian Beqaj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilson Andrade in the 39th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, GLADIADORES's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Louis Ouaddou came free, but Thomas Ravelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jean-Louis Ouaddou made a kick off. GLADIADORES's Thomas Ravelli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save GLADIADORES from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, GLADIADORES's Thomas Ravelli got control of the ball when Jean-Louis Ouaddou tried to sneak it across the goal line.
