Niceto Frichoso started the match with the kick off. Thomas Ravelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Trigo in the 7th minute of play. A collision led to GLADIADORES getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Sérgio Donato hit a great ball. The supporters of Flamengo CIMZ booed when GLADIADORES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haakon Taankvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Flamengo CIMZ's André Barros tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Thomas Ravelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Kiszkiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. André Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wilson Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilson Andrade in the 25th minute of play forced Flamengo CIMZ's goalkeeper Édouard Mendy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Wilson Andrade left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GLADIADORES fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilson Andrade in the 33rd minute of play forced Flamengo CIMZ's goalkeeper Édouard Mendy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Édouard Mendy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilson Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 38 minutes Flamengo CIMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Johannes Stein who took care of the corner kick. Thomas Ravelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Frichoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Flamengo CIMZ's Édouard Mendy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Flamengo CIMZ from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Thomas Ravelli made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Niceto Frichoso sent off a good shot on target. Wilson Andrade's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Édouard Mendy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. GLADIADORES's Thomas Ravelli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save GLADIADORES from getting a goal against them. In the 67th minute, Wilson Andrade ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Édouard Mendy was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 70 minutes in the game Alexandre Loyola did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Jack Black. After a defensive mix-up in Flamengo CIMZ's zone, Wilson Andrade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Édouard Mendy came out of the goal and Wilson Andrade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 74 minutes, Leopoldo Trigo made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. GLADIADORES's Thomas Ravelli tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Anacleto Rozarius came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the GLADIADORES fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anacleto Rozarius couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Anacleto Rozarius's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Édouard Mendy was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. In the 82nd minute of the match GLADIADORES got a corner. Flamengo CIMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Johannes Stein ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thomas Ravelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Trigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Anacleto Rozarius notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Flamengo CIMZ's Édouard Mendy. Édouard Mendy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. GLADIADORES had won after a very even match.
