In the 19th minute, Johannes Stein got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. GLADIADORES's Sérgio Donato got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Édouard Mendy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson Andrade in the 23rd minute of the match. GLADIADORES were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Flamengo CIMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Johannes Stein took the corner. Flamengo CIMZ's Édouard Mendy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sérgio Donato in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, GLADIADORES's Wilson Andrade sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Édouard Mendy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 33 minutes into the game, Wilson Andrade cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. When Niceto Frichoso came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Flamengo CIMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niceto Frichoso couldn't finish the play. After 83 played minutes Flamengo CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Moncho Vicente. Édouard Mendy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anacleto Rozarius in the 84th minute. Sérgio Donato's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Édouard Mendy firmly grabbed it by the left post. Andrei Cerbu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jack Black in the 87th minute of the match. If Sérgio Donato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jack Black struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Andrei Cerbu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flamengo CIMZ. The GLADIADORES supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing GLADIADORES would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
