Fabinho dos Santos ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabinho dos Santos in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Willy Van Linthout prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bruly's goalkeeper Willy Van Linthout, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Club Athletico Paulistano booed when Bruly was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alek Thys didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Fabinho dos Santos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Willy Van Linthout was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Joseph Neels hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Acácio Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luckas Cromefeldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the match, Bruly's goal looked a bit too open when Rafinha Trancoso came free, but Willy Van Linthout reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luckas Cromefeldt hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the game, Fabinho dos Santos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Willy Van Linthout was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Fabinho dos Santos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Willy Van Linthout was relentless in the 44th minute of the game.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabinho dos Santos to strike the kick off in the second half. Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the match, Rafinha Trancoso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Willy Van Linthout, 0-4. Acácio Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Acácio Lara came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Bruly's Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck. But to his dismay, Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Although Bruly had been in control for most of the match, Club Athletico Paulistano still came away with the win.
