But to his dismay, Harold Tronconi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 20 minutes into the match, RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18's goal looked a bit too open when Harold Tronconi came free, but Mustafa Arif Devrim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victor Cutberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mustafa Arif Devrim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harold Tronconi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Francisco Tinoco made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Reynaldo Quinito sent off a good shot on target. In the 49th minute of the match Grêmio RK75 got a corner. RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carlos Fernando Guedes ran over to the corner to take the kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victor Cutberto made a kick off. Victor Cutberto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Francisco Tinoco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play.
