Fernando Barros started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Orçun Yalınalp came free, but Pedro Augusto Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Augusto Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils-Emil Hansson in the 6th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's Alfredão Massa got a free kick in the 10th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Petrică Cândreanu came free, but Pedro Augusto Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute of the match FC UNIREA Alba Iulia got a corner. Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Petrică Cândreanu ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Wilson Arósio managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Baldomiro Txindoki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Øyvind Gilje in the 15th minute of play. The corner ended in Eriberto Tinoco almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Baldomiro Txindoki did a great save. Øyvind Gilje struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Baldomiro Txindoki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ. 20 minutes into the match, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Barros came free, but Baldomiro Txindoki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Augusto Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilson Arósio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Luican in the 24th minute of play forced Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's goalkeeper Pedro Augusto Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Fernando Barros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baldomiro Txindoki was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Baldomiro Txindoki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Raymundo in the 29th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Petrică Cândreanu came free, but Pedro Augusto Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Baldomiro Txindoki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save FC UNIREA Alba Iulia from getting a goal against them. Marcos de Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Pedro Augusto Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigel Horhoianu in the 46th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Orçun Yalınalp stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fernando Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomiro Txindoki having to interfere. Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's Pedro Augusto Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Luican in the 78th minute of play. Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's Pedro Augusto Neto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ from getting a goal against them. Baldomiro Txindoki came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's Fernando Barros. But to his dismay, Fernando Barros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's goalkeeper Pedro Augusto Neto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's Hílton Tande was substituted for Fernando Barros. Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ made a substitution. Paulo Renato Pontes replaced Øyvind Gilje. Baldomiro Txindoki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Renato Pontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute, Paulo Renato Pontes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baldomiro Txindoki was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC UNIREA Alba Iulia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ.
