The referee ignored FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's protests and gave Petrică Cândreanu a yellow card for diving instead. After 97 played minutes FC UNIREA Alba Iulia got a freekick which was hit by Petrică Cândreanu. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
