The audience was convinced that Meder Muños's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Augusto Neto was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Meder Muños recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Intimos de Reynoso's Meder Muños sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Augusto Neto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Meder Muños's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Augusto Neto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Meder Muños received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Pedro Augusto Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Meder Muños took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Augusto Neto. Pedro Augusto Neto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 45th minute Meder Muños shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Augusto Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcus Björkänge was slow to take the kick. During this time Intimos de Reynoso's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Intimos de Reynoso's corner Marcus Björkänge fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pedro Augusto Neto quite easily take care of the ball. After the first half Intimos de Reynoso were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Meder Muños scored 0-4 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Augusto Neto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. But to his dismay, Øyvind Gilje quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Ovidio Roland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredão Massa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Nabucodonosor E.C. The corner ended in Diego Armando Faso almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's Pedro Augusto Neto did a great save. Ovidio Roland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Øyvind Gilje, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Pedro Augusto Neto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lope Quijana went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Intimos de Reynoso walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
