An unexpectedly hard shot by Di Marinho in the 7th minute of play forced Purple Shadows's goalkeeper Dobromir Keep to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tonin Zogu kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the game, Fellipe Lago cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dobromir Keep was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 19 minutes, Jakob Alberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Purple Shadows and the Barrenta SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fellipe Lago took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dobromir Keep. Dobromir Keep dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Fellipe Lago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dobromir Keep having to interfere. In the 34thth minute of the game Gorom Kanø who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barrenta SC's Patric Isaksson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Purple Shadows's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Tastzian came free, but Dobromir Keep reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute Barrenta SC were awarded a corner. Luiz Paulo do Valle went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Nariman Mansourian almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Purple Shadows's Dobromir Keep did a great save. In the 44th minute, Di Marinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 46 minutes of play, Purple Shadows's Gorom Kanø made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patric Isaksson was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Barrenta SC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Agustín Tastzian stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Agustín Tastzian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dobromir Keep saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dobromir Keep showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Tastzian in the 55th minute of the match. Barrenta SC's Patric Isaksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Relja Jurišić in the 57th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Purple Shadows's goal looked a bit too open when Fellipe Lago came free, but Dobromir Keep reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Purple Shadows defense, Agustín Tastzian kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dobromir Keep. The Purple Shadows fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dobromir Keep should have stopped the shot. In the 71st minute of the match, Nariman Mansourian tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dobromir Keep saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Dobromir Keep showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Tastzian in the 74th minute of the match. Barrenta SC made a substitution. Urban Stenman replaced Fellipe Lago. 89 minutes into the match, Barrenta SC's goal looked a bit too open when Relja Jurišić came free, but Patric Isaksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Di Marinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
