The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Zbigniew Orling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurel Crivoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ignazio Corrales got a throw-in 6 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Radomil Michnik. 7 minutes into the match, Hector Hugo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Artur Zapolskih. JUNICO Ełk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hector Hugo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Hugo in the 19th minute of play forced JUNICO Ełk's goalkeeper Artur Zapolskih to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Hector Hugo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Artur Zapolskih narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 30th minute, Hector Hugo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. João Félix hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the JUNICO Ełk defense, Hector Hugo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Artur Zapolskih. The JUNICO Ełk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Artur Zapolskih should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, JUNICO Ełk's João Félix got a free kick in the 37th minute. Hector Hugo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 43 played minutes JUNICO Ełk got a freekick which was hit by João Félix. In the 45th minute Hector Hugo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Zapolskih saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 48 minutes into the game, when Szczepan Piesciuk put in a rough tackle. After 47 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for JUNICO Ełk! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hector Hugo to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hector Hugo in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artur Zapolskih saved JUNICO Ełk from getting behind. If Hector Hugo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Artur Zapolskih made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Hugo in the 57th minute of play. Artur Zapolskih took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Hugo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hector Hugo got free with Artur Zapolskih in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 0-4 became the score in the 63rd minute when Marius Neset elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Hector Hugo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Artur Zapolskih was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. After 67 played minutes JUNICO Ełk got a freekick which was hit by João Félix. Artur Zapolskih showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Hugo in the 69th minute of the match. Zbigniew Orling scored 1-4 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aurel Crivoi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK made a substitution. Paul Hermansson replaced Hector Hugo. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's David Israel Blue was substituted for Marius Neset. Artur Zapolskih took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomil Michnik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Artur Zapolskih showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernt Offendahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute of the match Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK got a corner. JUNICO Ełk's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Guld Run ran over to the corner to take the kick. After having played for 85 minutes, Paul Hermansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paul Hermansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Artur Zapolskih showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Hermansson in the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Zbigniew Orling left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JUNICO Ełk fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. 91 minutes into the match, David Israel Blue notched a goal, 2-6, to the right of JUNICO Ełk's Artur Zapolskih. Artur Zapolskih was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. David Israel Blue could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Artur Zapolskih made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radomil Michnik in the 94th minute of play forced JUNICO Ełk's goalkeeper Artur Zapolskih to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 97 minutes into the match, JUNICO Ełk's goal looked a bit too open when Bernt Offendahl came free, but Artur Zapolskih reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Israel Blue scored 2-7 in the 98th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Artur Zapolskih, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The JUNICO Ełk fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
