The audience was convinced that Hector Hugo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Krisztián Sydbøge was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Nimród Vére's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hector Hugo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 20 minutes into the match, Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Hector Hugo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Krisztián Sydbøge narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Elemér Dragóner hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Nimród Vére's zone, Hector Hugo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Krisztián Sydbøge came out of the goal and Hector Hugo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Krisztián Sydbøge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Hugo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's attentive Guld Run managed to snatch the ball when Tamás Bencsik made a throw-in in the 30th minute of the game. Hector Hugo might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Krisztián Sydbøge. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hector Hugo ran back to his position shaking his head. Krisztián Sydbøge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Hugo in the 35th minute of play. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nimród Vére's goalkeeper Krisztián Sydbøge, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nimród Vére's Krisztián Sydbøge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Hugo in the 40th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Radomil Michnik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Radomil Michnik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Krisztián Sydbøge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 45 played minutes Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK got a freekick which was hit by Hjalmar Sjöö. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hector Hugo was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th minute, Hector Hugo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Márk Kovács had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nimród Vére's Krisztián Sydbøge proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Nimród Vére from getting a goal against them. Krisztián Sydbøge was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Hector Hugo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hector Hugo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Hector Hugo scored 0-4 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Krisztián Sydbøge, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 67th minute, Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Marius Neset ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Krisztián Sydbøge. Krisztián Sydbøge yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. After some careless play in the Nimród Vére defense, Hector Hugo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Krisztián Sydbøge. The Nimród Vére fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Krisztián Sydbøge should have stopped the shot. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK made a substitution. Paul Hermansson replaced Hector Hugo. After a rather tough play, Nimród Vére's Vendel Bíró got a free kick in the 74th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paul Hermansson in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Krisztián Sydbøge saved Nimród Vére from getting behind. Krisztián Sydbøge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marius Neset in the 78th minute of play. After 79 minutes of play, Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Paul Hermansson made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Krisztián Sydbøge was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 83rd minute of the match Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK got a corner. Nimród Vére's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marius Neset ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Mike Tyson got a free kick in the 83rd minute. 86 minutes in the game, Bernt Offendahl fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Krisztián Sydbøge having to interfere. Paul Hermansson did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-8 to the left of a surprised Krisztián Sydbøge 87 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Paul Hermansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Krisztián Sydbøge was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. With his leg Krisztián Sydbøge managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Radomil Michnik fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the final whistle sounded Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Nimród Vére.
