Leonardo Quexal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Traian Traian, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Fotbal Club Vaslui's supporters crossed their fingers, but Traian Traian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Fotbal Club Vaslui booed when El ultimo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Bernabel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Traian Traian might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonardo Quexal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Traian Traian ran back to his position shaking his head. 24 minutes into the game, Fotbal Club Vaslui's Traian Traian nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonardo Quexal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Vasile Pisculescu had several of the Fotbal Club Vaslui's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 29 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Matías Azevedo as he didn't even see the shot coming. Luis Bemabe hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. If Traian Traian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 37th minute, Ramon Ignatius left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El ultimo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind El ultimo's goalkeeper Leonardo Quexal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 45th match minute, Fotbal Club Vaslui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihnea Stanca to maneuver through the defense. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fotbal Club Vaslui's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Traian Traian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonardo Quexal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Fotbal Club Vaslui's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Javier Montes in the 59th minute. After taking down the ball on Fotbal Club Vaslui's corner Visti Hjelmstoft fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Leonardo Quexal quite easily take care of the ball. 61 minutes into the game, El ultimo's Ramon Ignatius nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matías Azevedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Matías Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Bemabe in the 67th minute of the match. Matías Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Ignatius, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After 71st play minutes Bernabe Lucero shot 4-2, a short shot which went by Matías Azevedo and just under the crossbar into goal. Fotbal Club Vaslui made a substitution. Leonardo Quexal came out and tried to block the shot, but Traian Traian slotted it home off the left post making it 4-4 in the 92nd minute.
