FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Benigno Lopes ran over to the corner to take the kick. Benigno Lopes made a great header on Club Atletico Juanita's corner, it was just that FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Niculae Rădvan managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Filip Braia got a free kick in the 9th minute. Aurelian Odobescu was slow to take the kick. During this time FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s players had a chance to rest. Aurel Teodoroiu was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After the first half FC PIETROSUL -MM- were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

FC PIETROSUL -MM- made a substitution. Cristi Ciprian replaced Viorel Iacobescu. Ciprian Halipa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Petrică Ştefoi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Petrică Ştefoi made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Cristi Ciprian sent off a good shot on target. Niculae Rădvan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Epifanio Orlan in the 62nd minute of the match. Niculae Rădvan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Orlan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC PIETROSUL -MM- had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
