After 20 played minutes KFC Uerdingen 05 got a freekick which was hit by Fabrizio Nowak. After 21 played minutes, MARTINETA's Lv Qiang Xiao shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Brandon Mang came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MARTINETA reached it. Cayetano Lalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th match minute, KFC Uerdingen 05 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sylwester Dziuma to maneuver through the defense. Brandon Mang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Cesaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd match minute, KFC Uerdingen 05 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Brechbilder to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, Carlos Cesaro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MARTINETA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Carlos Cesaro struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Brandon Mang didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MARTINETA. KFC Uerdingen 05's Brandon Mang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Cesaro in the 40th minute of play. Brandon Mang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Cesaro in the 43rd minute of play. KFC Uerdingen 05's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ricardo Lugebiel in the 46th minute. 48 minutes into the match, Carlos Cesaro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Brandon Mang. KFC Uerdingen 05's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Cesaro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Simon Bannenbusch to make the kick off. Carlos Cesaro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brandon Mang read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. KFC Uerdingen 05's Brandon Mang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Cesaro in the 59th minute of play. In the 62nd minute MARTINETA were awarded a corner. Lv Qiang Xiao went to the cornerflag to take it. Carlos Cesaro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brandon Mang read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. After 72 played minutes MARTINETA got a freekick which was hit by Cayetano Lalla. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Bannenbusch in the 74th minute of play forced MARTINETA's goalkeeper Bartolo Beliran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Hartwig Engelhardt sped through MARTINETA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bartolo Beliran. KFC Uerdingen 05's Brian Laudrup was substituted for Simon Bannenbusch. KFC Uerdingen 05's Brandon Mang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lv Qiang Xiao in the 91st minute of play. João Severino in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Brandon Mang, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 96th minute, Hartwig Engelhardt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brandon Mang made an important save on a dangerous shot by João Severino in the 97th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. MARTINETA had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
