After 2 played minutes MARTINETA got a freekick which was hit by Lv Qiang Xiao. It was a well-played corner which Eduardo Elixio managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Bartolo Beliran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaudencio Chorche, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. A collision led to MARTINETA getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Rafal Kaszubowski hit a great ball. In the 14th match minute, Atletico Saladillo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaudencio Chorche to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaudencio Chorche in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bartolo Beliran saved MARTINETA from getting behind. In the 27th minute, MARTINETA's Enzo-Nicolás Madrid seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Enzo-Nicolás Madrid the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of MARTINETA protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Enzo-Nicolás Madrid had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After having played for 37 minutes, Lv Qiang Xiao managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MARTINETA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lv Qiang Xiao was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Atletico Saladillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lv Qiang Xiao came free, but Erland Sagbakken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute of the match MARTINETA got a corner. Atletico Saladillo FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lv Qiang Xiao ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Corderro in the 43rd minute of play forced MARTINETA's goalkeeper Bartolo Beliran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gabriel Corderro to make the kick off. Severo Lorenz kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Bartolo Beliran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaudencio Chorche in the 56th minute of play. Atletico Saladillo FC's Erland Sagbakken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nacho Roca in the 63rd minute of play. MARTINETA made a substitution. Alexander Buonanno replaced Albino Eliu. The supporters of MARTINETA booed when Atletico Saladillo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Elixio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute Gaudencio Chorche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartolo Beliran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erland Sagbakken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lv Qiang Xiao, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Bartolo Beliran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaudencio Chorche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atletico Saladillo FC's Erland Sagbakken proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Atletico Saladillo FC from getting a goal against them. Atletico Saladillo FC made a substitution. Hector Ferrer replaced Gabriel Corderro. Marian Tuliszewski hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Bartolo Beliran didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gaudencio Chorche went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Bartolo Beliran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Ferrer in the 97th minute of the match.
