KFC Uerdingen 05's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Philip Drake was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. With a little luck, KFC Uerdingen 05's Gabriel Wischnowsky got control of the ball when Kurt Pååk tried to sneak it across the goal line. Philip Drake might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gabriel Wischnowsky. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Philip Drake ran back to his position shaking his head. Philip Drake's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabriel Wischnowsky read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by KFC Uerdingen 05's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kurt Pååk was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Bullen's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to FC Bullen's Verner Hägert getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. If Philip Drake had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gabriel Wischnowsky made an important save on a dangerous shot by Philip Drake in the 95th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Bullen eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
