Orbay Başöz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santos Montel's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute Saul Mambru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Dimas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, Abdi Mehmet İksir was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Cazzo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético Rio Cuarto the free kick. After 22 played minutes AC Cazzo got a freekick which was hit by Abdi Mehmet İksir. In the 24th minute Santos Montel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orbay Başöz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, AC Cazzo's Orbay Başöz got control of the ball when Angelino Inautzi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 29th minute, Radomir Turak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AC Cazzo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Bernardino Dimas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomir Turak in the 33rd minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angelino Inautzi to make the kick off. Bernardino Dimas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reşit Uludağ, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute, AC Cazzo's Radomir Turak ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bernardino Dimas. Bernardino Dimas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Carlos Eduardo da Silveira charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Eduardo da Silveira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 58 played minutes Atlético Rio Cuarto got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Eduardo da Silveira. Angelino Inautzi struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Orbay Başöz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Rio Cuarto. Atlético Rio Cuarto's Bernardino Dimas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Mambru in the 78th minute of play. Teodoro Cordarryl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Radomir Turak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernardino Dimas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The crowd rose to their feet as AC Cazzo's Saul Mambru slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bernardino Dimas. That made the score 0-5 after 90 minutes of play. The AC Cazzo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AC Cazzo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
