A collision led to TAVHIK FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Juan Alfonso Grille hit a great ball. Simon Alvarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orbay Başöz having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, TAVHIK FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jim Lyons came free, but Drahoslav Putna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
