Ivar Unesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pan Jian Yong in the 23rd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Lions United's goalkeeper Steve De Wilde had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Glenn Olsen. In the 36th minute of the game Yetkin Müjdat made a throw-in which Peng De Guang played forward. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sånna goa grejer FC's goalkeeper Ivar Unesson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lions United's Niels Vandamme quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Karl-Oskar Håning, made in the 41st minute of the game. Pan Jian Yong scored 0-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivar Unesson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sånna goa grejer FC's Ivar Unesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pan Jian Yong in the 45th minute of play. Peng De Guang kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match.

In the 56th minute Pan Jian Yong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Unesson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sånna goa grejer FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lions United the free kick. In the 72nd minute, Karl-Oskar Håning hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivar Unesson made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Pan Jian Yong sent off a good shot on target. Niels Vandamme hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lions United would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
