Telmo Madureira was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Jorg Pieters capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jorg Pieters really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. The corner ended in Mateo Mendez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Telmo Madureira did a great save. In the 37th minute, Independiente's Jorg Pieters ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Telmo Madureira. Telmo Madureira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-0. 44 minutes into the match, Jorg Pieters notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Telmo Madureira. Telmo Madureira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Serafín Berganza took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Telmo Madureira. Telmo Madureira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marco Valadares was the one to do the kick off. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Telmo Madureira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. But to his dismay, Jorg Pieters quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 13-0. Isidoro Beltran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telmo Madureira having to interfere. Telmo Madureira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorg Pieters went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 14-0 was the resulting score. After 80 played minutes E.C 2 Janeiro RS got a freekick which was hit by Fellipe Rezende. 83 minutes into the match, E.C 2 Janeiro RS's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Beltran came free, but Telmo Madureira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Independiente fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Independiente's Jorg Pieters looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal.
