In the 45th minute of the match, Delmar Henric tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lech Latkiewicz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Vinicio Perico made the kick off in the second half. Legia Warszawa 【L】's Lech Latkiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Otsando in the 51st minute of play. Szymon Grunwalski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Legia Warszawa 【L】 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
