Roland Freytag could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Marius Bălașa made a huge save. In the 6th minute of the match, Lucjan Bejger tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marius Bălașa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucjan Bejger in the 7th minute of play forced Juventus Țiu's goalkeeper Marius Bălașa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Roque Claus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marius Bălașa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Freytag, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. The supporters of Lanzenkirchen booed when Juventus Țiu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandru Chiriloaie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roque Claus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Marius Bălașa made a huge save. In the 22nd minute Manuel Boteanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Åke Brummer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Nicolai Nowak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lanzenkirchen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juventus Țiu the free kick. In the 23rd minute, Nicolai Nowak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Boteanu in the 25th minute of play forced Lanzenkirchen's goalkeeper Karl-Åke Brummer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roque Claus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Marius Bălașa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juventus Țiu's Marius Bălașa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roque Claus in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Roland Freytag dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marius Bălașa, 1-1. Roland Freytag came free with the goalkeeper in the 39th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marius Bălașa could save by the left post. A collision led to Juventus Țiu getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Mugurel Buda hit a great ball. Mihail Ignătoiu lost his temper 42 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Marius Bălașa had in the 44thth minute some difficulties stopping Nicolai Nowak's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 45th minute Lucjan Bejger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marius Bălașa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Claus in the 53rd minute of play forced Juventus Țiu's goalkeeper Marius Bălașa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute, Lucjan Bejger made a precise shot to the right of Marius Bălașa. Juventus Țiu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Roque Claus might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marius Bălașa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roque Claus ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Lucjan Bejger put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Marius Bălașa. 78 minutes into the match, Roland Freytag had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marius Bălașa. Juventus Țiu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roland Freytag was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. In the 81st minute Lucjan Bejger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marius Bălașa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute, Roland Freytag ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marius Bălașa was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Marius Bălașa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Freytag, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Holger Häfeli's late challenge caught a Juventus Țiu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Holger Häfeli helped the player get up and apologised. After 94 played minutes Lanzenkirchen got a freekick which was hit by Holger Häfeli. After having played for 94 minutes, Manuel Boteanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juventus Țiu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Boteanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Lanzenkirchen players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
