MK Investments's Peter Oldenborger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save MK Investments from getting a goal against them. Jacco van Dartel hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Göran Unesson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Peter Oldenborger made a huge save. With a little luck, MK Investments's Peter Oldenborger got control of the ball when Göran Unesson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Team Rocco's Göran Unesson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Peter Oldenborger. That made the score 1-1 after 19 minutes of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Thanks to some nice moves Jacco van Dartel could shoot a difficult shot in the 54th minute, which Sven-Edvin Mårtensson however easily saved by the left post. If Waclaw Poremba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacco van Dartel in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven-Edvin Mårtensson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Sven-Edvin Mårtensson managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when MK Investments's Jacco van Dartel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Nordlund in the 71st minute of play forced MK Investments's goalkeeper Peter Oldenborger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vincent Olofsson hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. When Göran Unesson came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Team Rocco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Göran Unesson couldn't finish the play. Team Rocco's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
