The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Christian Burgo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genílson Gaspar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Christian Burgo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sipo EC's goalkeeper Genílson Gaspar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 17th minute of the match Kwyjibo got a corner. Sipo EC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Guilherme de Souza ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Kwyjibo's Guilherme de Souza to fire away a dangerous shot which Genílson Gaspar despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Kwyjibo's Sylwester Wawro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdir Arósio in the 18th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Kwyjibo's goalkeeper Sylwester Wawro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oscar Luz. With a little luck, Kwyjibo's Sylwester Wawro got control of the ball when Oscar Luz tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Valdir Arósio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sylwester Wawro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Décio Messias in the 37th minute of play. When Sipo EC's Décio Messias in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kwyjibo's goalie prevented a goal. Genílson Gaspar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christian Burgo went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Kwyjibo's Christian Burgo got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Décio Messias to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christian Burgo got free with Genílson Gaspar in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 62 minutes, Renan Luz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sipo EC and the Kwyjibo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sipo EC's Renan Luz got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute, Mathias Jakobsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sylwester Wawro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Paulo Prata in the 71st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christian Burgo got free with Genílson Gaspar in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. During the 75th minute of the match Renan Luz completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Renan Luz a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Renan Luz kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Christian Burgo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Genílson Gaspar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. 85 minutes into the game, Christian Burgo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Genílson Gaspar. Christian Burgo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. 89 minutes into the match, Sipo EC's goalkeeper Genílson Gaspar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christian Burgo. Kwyjibo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Guilherme de Souza in the 91st minute. The corner ended in Guilherme de Souza almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sipo EC's Genílson Gaspar did a great save. 93 minutes into the match, Sipo EC's goalkeeper Genílson Gaspar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christian Burgo. Kwyjibo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
