In the 20th minute, Andrew Carrillos made a precise shot to the right of Carroll Hathaway. Sipo EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 24 minutes into the match, Andrew Carrillos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carroll Hathaway. Sipo EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andrew Carrillos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Carroll Hathaway showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walter Van Mechelen, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. A nice corner shot did that Walter Van Mechelen got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Carroll Hathaway quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Carroll Hathaway took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kazimierz Golota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kryspin Dembkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oséias Gerber in the 34th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Victoria Mlawa's Andrew Carrillos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carroll Hathaway narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andrew Carrillos to make the kick off. The Victoria Mlawa supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Victoria Mlawa would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
