Christian Burgo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorginho Vaz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Kwyjibo's Christian Burgo got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15th match minute, Kwyjibo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabricio Perli to maneuver through the defense. When Edgard Macedo came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Portuguesa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgard Macedo couldn't finish the play. Christian Burgo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 20 minutes into the match, Portuguesa's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Burgo came free, but Jorginho Vaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 22 minutes of play, Portuguesa's 任浩默 made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sylwester Wawro was left in no man's land by his defense there! 25 minutes into the match, Kwyjibo's Christian Burgo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorginho Vaz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 任浩默 kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Portuguesa's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sven McNamara was slow to take the kick. During this time Kwyjibo's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Sven McNamara almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Portuguesa's Jorginho Vaz did a great save. Christian Burgo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute, Etxepare Angostina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Portuguesa's Jorginho Vaz got control of the ball when Christian Burgo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christian Burgo was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Christian Burgo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorginho Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Obar Mudaffar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jorginho Vaz. Portuguesa's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Portuguesa's Holger Zachrisson in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kwyjibo's goalie prevented a goal. 57 minutes into the match, Christian Burgo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jorginho Vaz. Portuguesa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christian Burgo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 60th minute Christian Burgo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorginho Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Portuguesa defense, Christian Burgo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jorginho Vaz. The Portuguesa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jorginho Vaz should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Burgo in the 71st minute of play forced Portuguesa's goalkeeper Jorginho Vaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorginho Vaz came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Kwyjibo's Christian Burgo. But to his dismay, Christian Burgo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. A collision led to Portuguesa getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Aldair Weidt hit a great ball. The supporters of Kwyjibo booed when Portuguesa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldair Weidt didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Christian Burgo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jorginho Vaz was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. 83 minutes into the match, Portuguesa's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Burgo came free, but Jorginho Vaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Christian Burgo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jorginho Vaz was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Mathias Jakobsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorginho Vaz having to interfere. Portuguesa's Miguel de Sena was substituted for Holger Zachrisson. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Portuguesa's goalkeeper Jorginho Vaz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, Portuguesa's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Burgo came free, but Jorginho Vaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mathias Jakobsson kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Kwyjibo's Mathias Jakobsson fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Jorginho Vaz was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. Christian Burgo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
