The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Amboy FC's Ariel Mourelatos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcin Danisiewicz in the 5th minute of play. In the 8th minute Epifanio Harkaitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Mourelatos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yin Chuan Feng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Alberto Abascal, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Marcin Danisiewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The throw-in from Bruce Cornforth in the 17th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by LEBRON's Luo Qing Xi. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valerio Spadoni got free with Yin Chuan Feng in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 25 minutes, Jacinto Naelio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Amboy FC and the LEBRON players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 26 played minutes Amboy FC got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Naelio. 27 minutes into the match, Marcin Danisiewicz notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Amboy FC's Ariel Mourelatos. Ariel Mourelatos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ariel Mourelatos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcin Danisiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. With a little luck, LEBRON's Yin Chuan Feng got control of the ball when Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 35thth minute of the game Epifanio Harkaitz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amboy FC's Ariel Mourelatos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yin Chuan Feng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcin Danisiewicz in the 38th minute of play forced Amboy FC's goalkeeper Ariel Mourelatos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Amboy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcin Danisiewicz came free, but Ariel Mourelatos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute Mario Alberto Abascal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yin Chuan Feng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half LEBRON were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Epifanio Harkaitz made the kick off in the second half. Amboy FC's Ariel Mourelatos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcin Danisiewicz in the 53rd minute of play. Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Yin Chuan Feng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amboy FC's Ariel Mourelatos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcin Danisiewicz in the 62nd minute of play. Ariel Mourelatos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcin Danisiewicz in the 65th minute of the match. Yin Chuan Feng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valerio Spadoni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. LEBRON's Ciro Berart was substituted for Jörn Scharff. LEBRON made a substitution. Ariel Lopez replaced Epifanio Harkaitz. When Amboy FC's Valerio Spadoni in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. LEBRON's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mario Alberto Abascal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán in the 91st minute of play forced LEBRON's goalkeeper Yin Chuan Feng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LEBRON were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
