Radomir Pracki came out of the goal and Valerio Spadoni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ariel Mourelatos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mamat Darwis in the 22nd minute. Radomir Pracki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valerio Spadoni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Radomir Pracki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán in the 27th minute of play.
