But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anacleto Sanchez couldn't finish the play. If Anacleto Sanchez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mauro Joachim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hudson Pires in the 7th minute of the match. When Hudson Pires got free in front of the goal in the 7th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Mauro Joachim was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 9th minute Isaac Hanot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristo Cordara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Royal Knights FC's goalkeeper Cristo Cordara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anacleto Sanchez. The referee felt a red card was in order, 12 minutes into the game, when Lisandro Suarez put in a rough tackle. In the 14th minute there was a penalty for Royal Knights FC. Carlos Lima stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mauro Joachim. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manu Smets in the 16th minute of play forced AFC CERBEROS's goalkeeper Mauro Joachim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauro Joachim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manu Smets in the 18th minute of play. Urbano Chinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Cristo Cordara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the game, Marcel Corrêa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Mauro Joachim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 27 minutes into the match, Royal Knights FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Hanot came free, but Cristo Cordara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Royal Knights FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3.

Manu Smets could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Mauro Joachim made a huge save. 58 minutes into the game, AFC CERBEROS's Isaac Hanot nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristo Cordara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Carlos Lima hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute, Manu Smets reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mauro Joachim. The goal made the score 1-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isaac Hanot in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristo Cordara saved Royal Knights FC from getting behind. Cristo Cordara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isaac Hanot's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. After a rather tough play, AFC CERBEROS's Urbano Chinto got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 93rd minute Isaac Hanot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristo Cordara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manu Smets in the 95th minute of play forced AFC CERBEROS's goalkeeper Mauro Joachim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristo Cordara came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC CERBEROS's Isaac Hanot. But to his dismay, Isaac Hanot quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Royal Knights FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
