In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Golden Lions FC's goalkeeper Anders Lundqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 12 played minutes Parque Europa FC got a freekick which was hit by Atahan Balyemez. Luis Täger came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Golden Lions FC's Loco Durazno. But to his dismay, Loco Durazno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Atahan Balyemez was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 16th minute. Parque Europa FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Luis Täger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mats Nyström in the 19th minute of the match. In the 19thth minute of the game Mats Nyström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Parque Europa FC's Luis Täger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Parque Europa FC's Froilan Reyes in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Golden Lions FC's goalie prevented a goal. Mats Nyström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luis Täger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Anders Lundqvist came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Parque Europa FC's Froilan Reyes. But to his dismay, Froilan Reyes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Froilan Reyes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Anders Lundqvist came out and tried to block the shot, but Froilan Reyes slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 29th minute. Emanuel Löfkvist's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Anders Lundqvist firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 38 played minutes Parque Europa FC got a freekick which was hit by Atahan Balyemez. An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Reyes in the 46th minute of play forced Golden Lions FC's goalkeeper Anders Lundqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Froilan Reyes was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Golden Lions FC's goalkeeper Anders Lundqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 54th minute, Arne Tönnberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 57 minutes into the game, Golden Lions FC's Loco Durazno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luis Täger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Luis Täger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mats Nyström in the 64th minute of play. Luis Täger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mats Nyström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luis Täger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cosme Larpe in the 69th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Loco Durazno kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luis Täger. That made the score 2-3 in the 74 minute of play. Golden Lions FC made a substitution. İbrahim Efe Topdemir replaced Marcelo Steven. A collision led to Golden Lions FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Bebben Johansson hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the match, Parque Europa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Nyström came free, but Luis Täger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Golden Lions FC's Igor Dzierwa got a free kick in the 86th minute. Samuel Ryynänen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anders Lundqvist. Golden Lions FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Mendiola came free, but Anders Lundqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Golden Lions FC's Burç Tokhan in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Parque Europa FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 94th minute Coronel Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Lundqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anders Lundqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Mendiola in the 96th minute of play. The Golden Lions FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
