Hipolito Rico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agostinho Bittencourt, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After a rather tough play, Jardim América FC's João Carlos Capixaba got a free kick in the 5th minute. Henry Bergvall struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. 高文川 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Black Mamba. 高文川 was a little too slow when Henry Bergvall got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 1-0. When Agostinho Bittencourt came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Jardim América FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agostinho Bittencourt couldn't finish the play. 13 minutes into the game, Agostinho Bittencourt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Hipolito Rico was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Verne Everett in the 18th minute of play forced Jardim América FC's goalkeeper 高文川 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st match minute, Jardim América FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafa Alves to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, Jardim América FC's Agostinho Bittencourt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hipolito Rico narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henry Bergvall in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 高文川 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agostinho Bittencourt in the 31st minute of play forced Black Mamba's goalkeeper Hipolito Rico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Black Mamba's Henry Bergvall in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jardim América FC's goalie prevented a goal. 高文川 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angelino Abecia in the 34th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agostinho Bittencourt in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hipolito Rico prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jardim América FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Owen Gallagher in the 36th minute. The corner led Jardim América FC's Rafa Alves to fire away a dangerous shot which Hipolito Rico despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some careless play in the Black Mamba defense, Agostinho Bittencourt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hipolito Rico. The Black Mamba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hipolito Rico should have stopped the shot. In the 44th minute Vicente Ferris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hipolito Rico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Black Mamba's Hipolito Rico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Ferris in the 45th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Henry Bergvall could shoot a difficult shot in the 47th minute, which 高文川 however easily saved by the left post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vicente Ferris to make the kick off. Jardim América FC were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Black Mamba's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Owen Gallagher took the corner. 高文川 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelino Abecia in the 62nd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Vicente Ferris had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hipolito Rico. Black Mamba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vicente Ferris was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. 高文川 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Bergvall in the 79th minute of the match. When Agostinho Bittencourt came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Jardim América FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agostinho Bittencourt couldn't finish the play. Jardim América FC's Aníbal Abraão was substituted for Luís Fernando Rossi. In the 89thth minute of the game Henry Bergvall who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jardim América FC's 高文川 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Black Mamba's goalkeeper Hipolito Rico had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agostinho Bittencourt.
