Rudolf Meulman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Álvaro Vilaverde in the 29th minute of play. Rigoberto Inguma kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 31st minute Zé Tola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualter Roriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Tommi Valkama seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tommi Valkama the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Olimpo de Bahia Blanca protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tommi Valkama had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Thanks to some nice moves Marcus Odin could shoot a difficult shot in the 58th minute, which Rudolf Meulman however easily saved by the left post. Rudolf Meulman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amedeo De Matteis in the 61st minute. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hélder Cavaco was slow to take the kick. During this time Delta FS's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Delta FS's Amedeo De Matteis getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's goal looked a bit too open when Andaka Mula came free, but Rudolf Meulman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rudolf Meulman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andaka Mula in the 65th minute of the match. In the 67thth minute of the game Zé Tola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Delta FS's Gualter Roriz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 80th minute Andaka Mula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudolf Meulman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Luisito Nesor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gualter Roriz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. When Luisito Nesor fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's protests and gave Luisito Nesor a yellow card for diving instead.
