Gualter Roriz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Inguma in the 4th minute of play. Hélder Cavaco kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. A collision led to Delta FS getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Hélder Cavaco hit a great ball. In the 10th minute, Carmelo Gorka sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Delta FS's Gualter Roriz didn't even have to move. In the 11th match minute, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arjen Robben to maneuver through the defense. Gualter Roriz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arjen Robben, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Rudolf Meulman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Odin in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Nicolas Satordi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gualter Roriz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some careless play in the Delta FS defense, Nicolas Satordi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gualter Roriz. The Delta FS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gualter Roriz should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amedeo De Matteis in the 35th minute of play forced Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's goalkeeper Rudolf Meulman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rudolf Meulman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amedeo De Matteis, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. An unexpected shot in the 41st minute by Amedeo De Matteis got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Amedeo De Matteis came free with the goalkeeper in the 41st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rudolf Meulman could save by the left post. Rudolf Meulman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcus Odin in the 45th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bonifacio Javiar to make the kick off. Delta FS's Gualter Roriz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Satordi in the 57th minute of play. A collision led to Olimpo de Bahia Blanca getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Edmund Tomiczek hit a great ball. Marcus Odin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Rudolf Meulman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gualter Roriz was a little too slow when Nicolas Satordi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 0-3. Delta FS's Gualter Roriz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Delta FS from getting a goal against them. After 68 played minutes Olimpo de Bahia Blanca got a freekick which was hit by Luisito Nesor. Andaka Rača kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Gualter Roriz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Inguma in the 74th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's goal looked a bit too open when Álvaro Vilaverde came free, but Rudolf Meulman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rudolf Meulman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Álvaro Vilaverde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gualter Roriz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Satordi in the 85th minute of play. Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Carmelo Gorka in the 86th minute. Carmelo Gorka made a great header on Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's corner, it was just that Delta FS's Gualter Roriz managed to reach the ball for a save. Tommi Valkama helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Tommi Valkama got a free kick in the 94th minute. Rudolf Meulman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Odin in the 95th minute of the match. The Olimpo de Bahia Blanca players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
