The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sture Abrahamsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Uriel Sesuldo went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Uriel Sesuldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Haritz Trespuentes got free with Kenneth Libesoons in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Terremoto FC booed when Nytäppet Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dave Lombardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, Shi Ming got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Nytäppet Fc's Martin Lindman got a free kick in the 46th minute. Kenneth Libesoons came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Nytäppet Fc's Haritz Trespuentes. But to his dismay, Haritz Trespuentes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The Nytäppet Fc players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Terremoto FC were winning 1-3.

Kenneth Libesoons showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dušan Vlahović, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Kenneth Libesoons took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dušan Vlahović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Shi Ming took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sture Abrahamsson. Sture Abrahamsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. 64 minutes into the match, Terremoto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dušan Vlahović came free, but Kenneth Libesoons reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dušan Vlahović in the 64th minute of play forced Terremoto FC's goalkeeper Kenneth Libesoons to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute Haritz Trespuentes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenneth Libesoons saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hilario Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Terremoto FC's Jeremias Macedo was substituted for Shi Ming. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Terremoto FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
