SEA FALCONS's Yani Tenekedzhiev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tom Hermansson in the 8th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, SEA FALCONS's goal looked a bit too open when Tom Hermansson came free, but Yani Tenekedzhiev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Tom Hermansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. AZURDUY F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Tom Hermansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yani Tenekedzhiev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teodosio Iigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuriy Ravinsky in the 14th minute of play. Yani Tenekedzhiev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tom Hermansson in the 18th minute of the match. SEA FALCONS's Yani Tenekedzhiev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tom Hermansson in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of SEA FALCONS booed when AZURDUY F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petr Vosáhlo didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tom Hermansson in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yani Tenekedzhiev saved SEA FALCONS from getting behind. Yani Tenekedzhiev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Károly Bogdán in the 25th minute of the match. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by SEA FALCONS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Károly Bogdán was slow to take the kick. During this time AZURDUY F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. At last the ball reached Fred Åkerström at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of SEA FALCONS. 0-1. 29 minutes into the game, one of SEA FALCONS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Yani Tenekedzhiev had in the 30thth minute some difficulties stopping Tom Hermansson's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Tom Hermansson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yani Tenekedzhiev. SEA FALCONS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tom Hermansson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Tom Hermansson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yani Tenekedzhiev having to make a save. Yani Tenekedzhiev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tom Hermansson in the 34th minute of play. A collision led to SEA FALCONS getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Yani Tenekedzhiev came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by AZURDUY F.C.'s Tom Hermansson. But to his dismay, Tom Hermansson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 47thth minute of the game Tom Hermansson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SEA FALCONS's Yani Tenekedzhiev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yuriy Ravinsky was the one to do the kick off. Tom Hermansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AZURDUY F.C.'s Berker Soytekin was substituted for Elpidio Laurgain. AZURDUY F.C. made a substitution. Manuel Valerio replaced Vinicio Venceslao. Yani Tenekedzhiev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Tom Hermansson took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Yani Tenekedzhiev to make any attempt to save it. Tom Hermansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yani Tenekedzhiev having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Slaveyko Samokovski in the 76th minute of play forced AZURDUY F.C.'s goalkeeper Teodosio Iigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Tom Hermansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yani Tenekedzhiev was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Niclas Füllkrug sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The AZURDUY F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AZURDUY F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
