Davide Franco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Kornasiewicz in the 25th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 26th minute by Urbano Ortega got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 28 minutes into the match, Locura Académica's goal looked a bit too open when Sylwester Kolano came free, but Davide Franco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Herminio Vitin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Davide Franco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sylwester Kolano in the 33rd minute of play. After 35 minutes, Remus Pinches mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Locura Académica and the io.dasola players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Locura Académica's Remus Pinches got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute of the match Robert Kornasiewicz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Davide Franco skillfully saved the ball. If Saip Umural had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 39 played minutes Locura Académica got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Ortega. In the 40th minute Sylwester Kolano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davide Franco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Davide Franco came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by io.dasola's Sylwester Kolano. But to his dismay, Sylwester Kolano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sylwester Kolano was the one to do the kick off. Herminio Vitin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davide Franco having to interfere. Joar Danielsson lost his temper 63 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. io.dasola's Robert Kornasiewicz got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute Sylwester Kolano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davide Franco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th match minute, io.dasola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Kornasiewicz to maneuver through the defense. Davide Franco didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 70th minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. With an all-out effort, io.dasola's Davide Franco threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Robert Kornasiewicz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sylwester Kolano's late challenge caught a Locura Académica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sylwester Kolano helped the player get up and apologised. After 75 played minutes io.dasola got a freekick which was hit by Sylwester Kolano. Davide Franco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Herminio Vitin in the 77th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herminio Vitin got free with Davide Franco in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, io.dasola's Basem Salem got a free kick in the 95th minute.
